Emotional Moments

When the doctor did the echo, they noted that there was narrowing of one of the arteries that they had seen during the operation, but they wanted to see if it was more pronounced. So they were going to hold us another day while they did some fancy x-ray procedure tomorrow. That did not make Gillian happy, obviously, as we were pretty much mentally ready to go home. So the doctor left, and while the other doctor finished up a few more pics on the echo, the other doctor returned and had spoken with Dr. Azakie. Dr. Azakie said that we could go home, and get the follow-up procedure done through Dr. Rivera (our cardiologist at Kaiser). So that swung the emotional rollercoaster in the other direction.

So now.. we had the EKG done... the pharmacy is calling in our prescriptions to be picked up, hopefully in Sac.

When do we leave? I guess it depends on how quickly they can process the release. If it's anything like our last time, it could be a while. I won't hold my breath! :-)
